Trick or Treat 2009!

We went over to the Whiteside's for Halloween & all the boys had a blast! Logan dressed up as a tiger (thanks to mom for the awsome costume), Samuel was Cpt Jack Sparrow, Mason was Cpt Hook.

There was a haunted garage across the street that Logan couldn't wait to get to...when we got there he just stood oustide & stared!

We actually got all four boys looking at the camera at the same time!!!

For a split second!

Trick or treat!

Logan wanted to check his bucket after every house!

Mason as cpt hook!

Going straight for the tire!

Logan actually walked by himself for most of the night...he only caught a ride with dad at the very end!

Exhausted!

Time to explore my booty!

Time to eat my booty!

I think I'll just shove it all in at once.

we turned around & Logan had Mason's pirate hat on...i don't know if he put it on or one of the other boys, but it was hilarious.

yummy sucker!

Time for a break & candy...this trick or treating thing is exhausting!

More candy please!

Pumpkin Patch in Argyle

We took Logan to a pumpkin patch this past weekend. It was a gorgeous day & Logan had a blast...and of course there was another train ride!

Inside the haunted mansion waiting for our train ride...logan was mesmerized by all the decorations!

His had is reaching out trying to touch the train!

Dancing in front of the haunted house that had music playing!
climbing a haystack...you don't get to do this everyday!

brushing his hands together to get the hay off!

too cute!

loved pulling & riding in the wagon...we're gonna have to get one of these for home!

Disneyland & California

Logan and I headed to California for two weeks to spend some time with my family. We didn't have much going on in Fort Worth yet & I was still waiting for my hygiene license to go through so we took advantage of our down time. Poor brent was a lonely bachelor for a couple weeks (or should I say lucky brent).

While in California we got to go to Disneyland. Logan unfortunately didn't last very long because it was the day after we arrived in Cali & he spent most of the night up crying! We still had a ton of fun & know next time to go a few days after we've been there. We also went to the Newport Beach temple & the beach with Merz & her friends visiting from arizona. Logan loved all the fountains at the temple & more than loved the beach & chasing the waves...he didn't even care that the water was freezing.
It was also nice to spend some time together with just the girls. We had a full afternoon of shopping together while dad watched logan...and we all survived. The next week we spent an afternoon getting manis & pedis & even managed to squeeze in dinner. We got a babysitter for Logan; but he never even met the babysitter...he napped the entire time we were gone! Megs is getting married in June so it was fun helping her with the invitations & getting to meet her great fiance. It turns out we went to middle school together...small world.

Logan's getting so big!

O-H..

signing "choo-choo". Every ride was a choo choo to Logan!

Perfect ad

Trying to get both boys to look at the camera. Never going to happen!

CALIFORNIA

Merz teacing Logan how to be "cool".

Logan with Sophie. Unfortunately while I was home we had to have Sophie put down because she was suffering from congestive heart failure. She was a little over 13years old and was the sweetest, kindest dog...she is deeply missed.

Mom continued to feed Logan's obsession with choo-choo's and made him a train cake.

Logan knew it was a train he could eat...loved licking the sugar off the train.

yummmm!

Logan came around the corner wearing one of erik's running shoes that he put on by himself. JT gladly helped him into the other one. Logan loved walking around in them!

Grapevine Wine Festival & Fort Worth Zoo

We've been enjoying everything that Fort Worth has to offer. In september we went to the Grapevine Wine Festival where we took a ride on the vintage railroad. Logan is obsessed with "choo choos" right now & got so excited when he saw the train. However, Logan is not into getting his picture taken...he can be full on belly laughing and as soon as he sees the camera his face goes blank or even worse he gets mad & ready to throw a tantrum.

On the train...close to a tantrum because the camera is out!

There was NO way we were getting Logan to look at the camera with the train behind us. His eyes were so big when we went up to see the train.

At the zoo...on you guessed it...a train!

We had to make a quick exit from the zoo because it started raining. Logan loved running through the parking lot in the stroller with his sucker & the rain coming down! Very content in the car making a sticky mess with his sucker that dad bought for him!
